About VetAtHome

VetAtHome is a modern and growing veterinary service where we put the safety and experience of animals and pet owners first. We combine ambulatory veterinary care with smaller veterinary clinics to offer accessible, stress-free and high-quality care.

Today we are located in Stockholm and in several locations around the country – and now we are building up our operations in Malmö.

Our core is home visits and ambulatory care. By meeting animals in their own environment, we reduce stress, improve examination conditions and create a more personalized care experience. At the same time, we have the opportunity to work from an outpatient clinic when necessary. 

Your role with us

As a veterinarian in Malmö, you will be a key person in the start-up of our local business. You will work on an outpatient basis with small animals and/or horses, with the possibility of also receiving patients in a clinic environment.

Among other things, you will:

• Perform examinations, treatments and counseling at home
• Work with vaccinations, sampling, wound care (horses) and medical examinations
• Manage emergency and planned visits
• Carrying out euthanasia with safety and dignity
• For horses: perform, for example, lameness examinations, colic assessments, inspections and eye examinations
• Refer patients further if necessary

You work independently in your team consisting of a veterinarian and a nurse but always have support from colleagues around the country. We have daily contact and a strong team spirit - even though we work mobile.

We are looking for you as

• Is a licensed veterinarian in Sweden
• Have at least 2 years of clinical experience
• Likes to work independently and take responsibility
• Wants to build long-term relationships with patients and pet owners
• Are communicative, confident and professional in your approach
• Thrives in a flexible and dynamic work environment
• Have a B driving license
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Meritorious

• Experience in ambulatory work or home visits
• Experience with both small animals and horses
• Competence in stress-free handling or animal welfare
• Experience with sampling and venous catheters
