Veterinary services
The general practice is for simple medical problems that do not initially require specialist care, or when you as a pet owner are unsure of what type of care your animal needs. For example, it could be itching, diarrhea, lameness or an animal that feels tired and is not itself. If necessary, we will help you to go to the right specialist clinic for further investigation and treatment.
At the general practice, we offer examination and treatment of common medical conditions in dogs and cats. We help with skin and ear problems, stomach and intestinal problems, lameness, urinary tract problems, wounds and general malaise, among other things.
If necessary, we also perform sampling, simple diagnostics and help you to reach the right specialist clinic for further investigation and treatment.
Each visit begins with a thorough review of the animal's medical history followed by a clinical examination and possible sampling such as blood tests, ultrasound, X-rays or cell samples.
A thorough clinical examination is the basis for making the correct diagnosis. We systematically review your animal's general condition, heart, lungs, abdomen, skin, musculoskeletal system and other organs to get a comprehensive picture of its health and determine whether further investigation is needed.
Blood tests are an important tool for detecting and monitoring many diseases in dogs and cats. By analyzing organ values, blood status and inflammation markers, we can obtain valuable information about your animal's health and guide further treatment or investigation.
Ultrasound and X-ray are important tools in medical detective work and help us get a clearer picture of what is going on inside the body. Imaging diagnostics can be particularly valuable in cases such as abdominal pain, cough, movement disorders or other diffuse symptoms.
We offer treatment for common medical conditions with the goal of your animal being able to go home the same day when the condition does not require further monitoring or inpatient care.

Our veterinarians have extensive experience in diagnosing and treating common medical conditions in dogs and cats. We ensure that you receive a clear explanation of the examination findings and a concrete plan for continued care or treatment.
We know that veterinary visits can be stressful for many animals. That's why we work calmly and safely, allowing your animal time to settle in and familiarize themselves with the environment before the examination begins.
Regardless of whether you have previously seen us at home or are being referred to one of our other clinics, we have full control over your animal's history. Through our shared medical record system, we create a safe and smooth chain of care for both you and your animal.
VetAtHome offers both clinic visits, home visits and visits to our veterinary practices – what is best depends on your animal's needs and what feels most convenient for you. We work with all insurance companies, making it easy to get help regardless of your insurance coverage.
