A growing trend

More and more people are taking their dogs with them on trips, and the demand for pet-friendly solutions is increasing. At the same time, many pet owners are worried – what happens if their dog gets sick or gets injured during their stay?

Veterinarian directly at the hotel

In response, ESS Group has partnered with Swedish veterinary service VetAtHome. Guests can receive help with everything from acute ailments to vaccinations and simple treatments – right where they live.

The service is easily booked and means that the veterinarian comes to the hotel, minimizing stress for both animals and owners.

Focus on safety and accessibility

The initiative is about creating a safer experience for pet owners. The goal is for the dog to be able to accompany the owner without the owner having to worry about access to care.

At the same time, the initiative reflects a larger change – where pets are increasingly seen as a natural part of the family, even when traveling.

Dogs as natural guests

At the hotels, dogs are not only allowed – they are welcome. The stay is adapted to work for both animals and people, with environments where the dog can thrive and be part of the experience.

Part of the future hotel experience

With veterinary services as part of the offering, the hotel experience takes it a step further. It is no longer just about accommodation – but about comprehensive service for the whole family.
