Preparations for the operation
To prepare your pet for surgery, you will receive detailed instructions from us when you book. It is important to follow these carefully to ensure the procedure goes as smoothly as possible. To maximize safety during anesthesia, we recommend a blood test, especially for older animals, if your animal has symptoms of illness or belongs to a risk group.
The course of the operation
When it is time for surgery, your pet will be cared for by our experienced anesthesia-trained animal nurses and veterinarians. Throughout the surgery, vital signs such as oxygen saturation, heart rate, breathing and body temperature are monitored using advanced monitoring technology to ensure your pet is completely safe during the surgery. After surgery, your pet will recover in a calm and safe environment, and pain relief will be provided as needed.
Home visit and aftercare
The animals can be taken home the same day after the surgery, the time of discharge is determined depending on the nature of the procedure and the animal's recovery status. When you go home, you will receive detailed instructions on aftercare.
