What payment methods do you offer?
We offer card payment, Swish or Klarna. You pay quickly and easily when the visit is complete.
My partner is registered on the insurance, can I still use the service?
You can always use our service regardless of whether you have insurance or not. The owner in our records does not have to be the same as the owner on the insurance to be able to use the animal's insurance.
Does my insurance apply?
We work with all insurance companies. As long as the reason for the visit is covered by your insurance company, it will of course also apply to us.
Can I cancel a home visit?
Yes, you can! You can cancel your visit free of charge up to 24 hours before the visit. You can do this through the confirmation email sent to the email address provided when you booked the home visit.
A cancellation later than 24 hours will be charged a fee between 900-1795 SEK depending on the booking.
In which cities and areas do you offer home visits?
We are currently located in Greater Stockholm (but soon in more locations in Sweden). Try and see if we can come to your home. here
Which animals can I seek help for?
Our experienced veterinarians can help you with your dog, cat, rabbit, rodent, reptile or bird!
How do home visits work?
You go to our online booking, tell us what you want help with and choose a time that suits you. At the booked time, we will come to your home to help your pet.
How much does it cost to use the service?
It can sometimes be difficult to say in advance what the total cost of a visit will be. Each procedure performed by the veterinarian or our healthcare staff has a set price, but often you do not know in advance exactly what interventions are needed, so the price in each individual case can vary. You will receive a cost estimate before the treatment begins to decide whether you want to carry out the treatment or not.
If you live more than 40 kilometers from central Stockholm, we charge a transportation fee. See our price list for an example of a bill.
We offer direct settlement for those of you who have pet insurance for your pet.
See our price list for our more information and price examples.

What our customers say
When we had to euthanize our beautiful little dog, they came home and did it, Trassel never got nervous like he would have been if we had had to go somewhere. He lay in our bed with us around him and felt the love as he fell asleep for the last time 💔
Our little guy is an incredibly stressed dog so when we found VetAtHome and were able to book them to come to our home in his usual environment it was absolutely wonderful! The service we received was wonderful and he loved the vet who came to visit! Instead of it being a stressful and stressful experience for all of us, we had a great time. Highly recommend!
I have received invaluable help with my cat who has diabetes. Thanks to veterinarian Daniela, Sune is now doing great! Thanks also to student Olivia and zookeeper Emilia as well as the nice treatment on the phone! Professional and incredibly nice treatment!
Highly recommend vetathome!
Super professional staff. Warm people with a heart in the right place.
