VetAtHome offers both clinic visits, home visits and visits to our veterinary practices – what is best depends on your animal's needs and what feels most convenient for you. Below are our opening hours

What payment methods do you offer?

We offer card payment, Swish or Klarna. You pay quickly and easily when the visit is complete.

My partner is registered on the insurance, can I still use the service?

You can always use our service regardless of whether you have insurance or not. The owner in our records does not have to be the same as the owner on the insurance to be able to use the animal's insurance.

Does my insurance apply?

We work with all insurance companies. As long as the reason for the visit is covered by your insurance company, it will of course also apply to us.

Can I cancel a home visit?

Yes, you can! You can cancel your visit free of charge up to 24 hours before the visit. You can do this through the confirmation email sent to the email address provided when you booked the home visit.

A cancellation later than 24 hours will be charged a fee between 900-1795 SEK depending on the booking.

In which cities and areas do you offer home visits?

We are currently located in Greater Stockholm (but soon in more locations in Sweden). Try and see if we can come to your home. here

Which animals can I seek help for?

Our experienced veterinarians can help you with your dog, cat, rabbit, rodent, reptile or bird!

How do home visits work?

You go to our online booking, tell us what you want help with and choose a time that suits you. At the booked time, we will come to your home to help your pet. Read more here

How much does it cost to use the service?

It can sometimes be difficult to say in advance what the total price of a visit will be. Each procedure that the veterinarian or our healthcare staff performs has a set price, but often you do not know in advance exactly which interventions are needed, which is why the price in each individual case can vary. You will receive a cost estimate before the treatment begins to decide whether you want to carry out the treatment or not.‍ If you live more than 40 kilometers from central Stockholm, we charge a transportation fee.
